The Development and Principle of Boron-CLS-Bond® Technology
Boron-CLS-Bond®
The patented Boron-CLS-Bond technology is a biodegradable lubrication technology designed for the latest mechanical advances and tolerances. The technology resulted from research into friction reduction executed at
the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory as research related to the NASA’s ISS program. It is biodegradable…it contains no
toxic substances and can be used to replace all toxic extreme-pressure
additives found in lubricants today including but not limited to sulfur
(calcium sulfonate), phosphorous (ZDDP), chlorine (chlorinated paraffin),
molybdenum, graphite, etc.
The Boron-CLS-Bond® technology is compatible with most known fluids, base oils, and greases and is
being used in virtually all lubrication regimes such as 2 stoke (mainly main engine and 4 stroke marine
engines-Trunk Piston engines), four-stroke combustion engines, power plants/generators, CNG/LNG
and other systems where friction, wear (micro-pitting) or parasitic contamination can impede
performance.
